Forgive and Forget

Forgiving people is sometimes really hard, because they may have hurt you badly. But the Bible says that we have to forgive and forget in order to live a happier and more fulfilled life for which Christ has created us.
When we forgive someone who hurt us, we will seem happier to ourselves and for people around us and if we forget about how they hurt us, our life would change in an amazing way. When we forgive and forget we can focus more on our future which God has in store for us.
Remember that when people talk behind your back and it comes out, it will hurt, but you have to forgive and forget. When people talk behind your back, remember that you’re two steps before them and much closer to the life that God has planned for you.
Just as you want God to forgive you your sins, you have to forgive people that hurt you in order to move forward. Even though they don’t ask forgiveness, you have to forgive to show you’re the better person in the story. Sometimes we don’t confess our sins and ask forgiveness for them, yet God forgives and forgets. Isn’t that a great example? Follow in Christ’s footsteps.
